Year 5 - Session 2 - Week 4

👷🏼‍♂️NEW BUILDING🚧 EXCITEMENT IN THE AIR

With the timeline approaching to move into our new space, busy body and dreams are swirling around the studios. We had a lovely 1st Parent Coffee led by Halle with a focus on bullying and picking.

We thought our followers would like to see a glimpse at what our town hall agendas each week entail.

Heroes not in attendance: Trinity, Vesper, Declan, Charleigh

Rules of Engagement:

  1. Start and End on Time

  2. Participate Wholeheartedly

  3. Be concise

Topics to Discuss

🔵Pierce is frustrated about the food from lunch being left in the shed.

Recommendations: He recommends to make the sheds unavailable for eating

Resolution: All areas outside except roofs will be available for lunchtime. The first time trash or food is left out for Studio Servicio to clean, we will be eating as a community under the awning.

🔵Mrs. EB would like to determine Guides’ roles versus Heroes’ roles

Recommendations:

Resolution:Moved to next week’s agenda

🔵Halle would like to be able to have gum in the studio

Recommendations: If someone leaves rappers/gum out, they get the privilege taken away. No bubble gum

Resolution:Mrs. EB stated no gum due to various reasons, however having healthy gum as rewards provided by school is an option.

🔵Lydia thinks we should be able to listen to music during CS

Recommendations: Listen to anything that is appropriate not just instrumental

Resolution: Listening to Classical music and instrumental music is allowed only due to scientific research showing the benefits for concentration and focus, and Mrs. EB will post a link in Google Classroom of appropriate playlists. Heroes request French Classical, Piano Guys, Mario theme song
