Spark Blog Session 6- Week 4- Year 4

How Do Animals Contribute to the Earth’s Health?

This week we discussed how farm animals contribute to our health and the health of our environment. We shared a news article about how a drought is impacting the food source for cattle in Kansas so, the farmers are having to sell the cows earlier than normal because they are no longer able to feed them. Each squad worked together to come up with a possible solution for this problem and were able to share it with their studio mates. Watch the videos below to see each squad’s idea.

The Nature Bears Flowers Chicken Shark squad shares their idea.

The Cuddle Cat squad shares their idea.

The Solgaleo squad shares their idea.

Thank You Notes

Our older heroes practiced their writing skills by writing thank you notes for our guest who visited us last week. We strive to incorporate skills that can be used in every day life into our learning as often as possible.

Brain Aerobics and Hero Highlights

Check out the hard work and goal-getting we saw in the studio this week during brain aerobics!

Butterfly Fun!

Last week the heroes made their very own butterfly wings as we learned about pollinators. This week the heroes were able to try their butterfly wings on and enjoy acting as pollinators in the studio and outside!

Walk Around the Sun Celebration

This week we celebrated Jack’s 7th trip around the sun together in the studio with his family. Happy 7th Birthday, Jack!
